Full terms and conditions are printed on the reverse side of each Hertz Rental Agreement, which renters are asked to read carefully. All Hertz qualifications standards are reqirements that must be met by the renters including those related to age, driving license, deposits and insurance. |
Rates:
All Rates include: Replacement, full Maintenance and Comprehensive insurance.

Deposit of Payments:
Payments should be made through major Credit Cards or through Hertz Charge Card or rental vouchers. Minimum deposit per vehicle is required for excess and traffic fine (KD150 - KD400).

Liablility of Renter:
All items under misuse (Damaged tires.wheels ext.)are not included in the regular maintenance and are not covered by insurance.
Insurance:
Insurance covers State of Kuwait territory only.
It is strictly not allowed to drive Hertz vehicle outside Kuwait,unless a written permission is obtained from Hertz.
Coverage:
Collison Damage Waiver (CDW/LDW),Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW),Theft Protection (TP),personal Accident Insurance (PAI) .For complete details please refer to the Hertz Kuwait offices.In case of accidents a police report must be obtained and coverage applicable as follows:
1) Police report is "2 parties involved" -full insurance applicable.
2) Police report is "single party" (unknown party) - an excess fee will be applied.
3) No police report submitted - customer will be liable to pay 100% of damage charges.

Reservations:
Reservations are only confirmed for car groups and not for a specific type of car. Local reservations are available at the mentioned phone /fax/e-mail.
Drivers License and Age:
All drivers must hold a valid driving license with minimum age of 21 years old. For GCC, USA and European Counties Hertz requires valid local or International Driving license, for all other countries an International Driving License is required and will be covered by an insurance policy paid at the same time of renting.
Additional Drivers:
Customers can have additional drivers added to their rental agreement. A minimum charge of KD10 will be added to the rental charges.

Fuel:
Petrol not included in the rates offered.
Chauffeur Driven Services:
Allow you to make your most valuable business time.Our trained chauffeur drivers are at your disposal for transporting you to your business apoointments ,meeting visiotrs and transferring them to their hotel or simply assisting with a fun day shopping .Meet and assist services are available 24 hrs a day with top class vehicles and superbly trained drivers.
Chauffeurs are available for KD 12/14 per 8 hours a day,excess hour are charged KD 3/5 per hour .A 100% surcharge is applied on fridays and public holidays.
