Terms and Conditions for International Rental
The Rates
All rates apply for rentals from 1st March 2008 to 28th February 2009 and are subject to availability and change without notice. These rates will only apply if you make your reservation and prepay before you arrive in the country of rental.
The rates include all mandatory insurances and taxes, which vary by destination.
Europe & Middle East: Unlimited Mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Protection (TP)airport service charge, any applicable local taxes, vehicle license fee.

Domestic RIH/LIT is available at no extra cost al most locations in France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland.
USA: Unlimited Mileage excepts were specified, Loss Damage Waiver(LDW), Liability Insurance Supplement(LIS), airport service charge, any applicable local taxes and vehicle license fee.
Canada: Unlimited Mileage excepts were specified, Loss Damage Waiver (LDW), any applicable local taxes (goods and services tax, provincial tax, provincial vehicle tax and tax for fuel consumption), airport service charge, vehicle license fee.
Rates exclude a number of optional insurances and other services which are available from the retail location. Any other additional extras such as baby seats, roof racks, ski racks and snow chains will be charged extra at the location. In some destination it may be necessary to pay locally an excess or CDW/LDW or TP if the car is damaged during the rental.
Cancellations & Amendments
You may change your reservation up to the day before pick-up accordingly with the availability of the car and we may need to issue a new rental voucher. If at the time of rental you wish to rent a larger car or to rent for a longer period you may do so as long as car is available. An additional charge will be made in the local rental country currency and may be higher than that quoted in the Hertz brochures.
No refunds will be made to the part used vouchers.
You may cancel your reservation at anytime before pickup date but we may need to issue a new voucher. Cancellation is not valid by any other method .Hertz reserves the right to make a Cancellation Charge which will be deducted from the refund we make to you. In case of any cancellation, the customer must inform the local agent from Kuwait or the location from the local country. For "no shows" & cancellations there will be a 7.5% charge from the paid amount to Hertz. If you are late in returning the car you must pay an additional charge at the hourly/and/or daily rate as stated on the rental agreement.
Requirement to rent a Hertz Car:
The minimum rental and driving age is usually 25 years, however there are some exceptions to this. In some countries there is a minimum surcharge age and a maximum age restriction. When picking up the car, the authorized renter must have a valid credit card, a valid passport, a valid driving license in English, which they have held for at least one year and international driving license.
NOTE: The international driving license translates the national license in English and it is not accepted without the local driving license (country of residence).
HERTZ CANNOT GUARANTEE TO PROVIDE A PARTICULAR MODEL WITHIN THE CAR GROUP BOOKED.
